Westlake Housing, LP, an affiliate of The Wentwood Companies, is a nationwide Owner/Operator of multifamily communities offering a full range of asset management, property management, acquisition, receivership and consulting services.  As a replacement general partner and property management agent, Westlake Housing specializes in repositioning underperforming IRC Section 42, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties utilizing proactive and aggressive asset and property management strategies.  Westlake Housing is also a sponsor of Housing Capital Funds which purchase multifamily properties (LIHTC and conventional) throughout the country.

Westlake Housing’s first property dates back to 1994 where its principals made their first multifamily investment in Garland, Texas.  From there, they went on to acquire and manage over 14,000 units in 11 states through 2002.  Today, Westlake Housing is a leader in the affordable housing industry and owns, and or manages, over 4,475 units in 34 properties located in Texas, California, Washington, Colorado, Virginia, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Tennessee, West Virginia and North Carolina.

Westlake Housing is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has over 100 highly trained employees who are all experts in their field. The senior leadership team has extensive experience in affordable housing, financing, acquisitions, property management, tax credit compliance, workouts, asset management and dispositions.
